We Will Not Fade Away

In war-torn Donbass, since 2014, Ukrainian teenagers have grown up amidst ruins, minefields, and bunkers. For Andriy, Illia, Lera, Liza, and Ruslan, the sound of bombardments is as routine as their dreams of a better life. A turning point in their lives arrives when a 73-year-old adventurer and mountaineer invites them on an expedition to the Himalayas. A brief, yet profound respite that allows them to escape reality and recognize and appreciate the fragile beauty of life. However, everything changes in February 2022 with the Russian attack on Ukraine.
