Was ist Film – Programm 21
Peter Kubelka created the *Cyclical Program: What is Film* in 1996 to mark the centenary of cinema. According to Kubelka, the program "defines film as an independent art form, as a tool that conveys new ways of thinking, through examples. It provides young filmmakers and all those seriously engaged with the medium of film a foundational overview in 63 programs."
The accompanying book to the cycle, *What is Film: Peter Kubelka’s Cyclical Program at the Austrian Film Museum*, is available at the Film Museum’s counter for a special price of 9 euros.
