After their daughter changes schools, Piv and Ulrik have to go straight to the famous annual class trip with children and parents, where they fight for a place in the parents' group of the new class. They are confronted with an entrenched power structure and domineering parents. They now have to overcome all the hurdles in order to be recognized in the parent community - but what are they prepared to do for their child?
