Vicky Christina Barcelona

The painter Juan Antonio Gonzalo lives in Barcelona and mourns his last relationship with María Elena. At an exhibition, he meets the American tourists Cristina and Vicky, who are spending their summer holidays in Spain. He invites them to spend a weekend in Oviedo. Vicky, who is about to get married, is initially very dismissive and doesn't want to come along. She only agrees for the sake of her friend Cristina, who is fascinated by Juan Antonio's direct manner. That weekend, there is an initial spark between Cristina and Juan Antonio. Soon Vicky also discovers her interest in the painter.
