In this documentary, Andrina Mračnikar embarks on a personal journey back to her homeland in southern Carinthia: Why are the Slovenian language and culture increasingly disappearing from everyday life? Here, the personal becomes deeply political. Drawing on the stories of her own family, Mračnikar traces a hundred years of Austrian history — a history in which Carinthia has been shaped by political neglect and the missed opportunity to value Slovenian culture as both an enrichment and an essential part of Austria.
