For many years, the director's father filmed the everyday life of his family. The birth of his daughter, his son's first steps and Valérie, the young mother, again and again.

Many hours of video footage from a supposedly "happy family", which the now grown-up daughter appropriates in order to tell a completely different story: that of a woman who has given up her job for her role as a mother and is visibly disappearing.
