Oscar Restrepo's obsession with poetry has not brought him fame so far. He has become the living cliché of the unsuccessful poet, moody, often drunk and constantly broke. When he meets Yurlady, a teenager from the lower social class with astonishing talent, a spark of light emerges in his shadowy existence. His idea to introduce her at the Medellin Poetry Festival seems set to become his next big misstep. Tragic and very, very funny at the same time.
