Ultima Thule

After the death of his father, young Bartek seeks refuge far from home. His journey takes him to the remote British island of Foula, where he hopes to find himself. Carrying only a backpack, memories, and the question, "What comes next?" he faces the challenges of wild nature, hard work, and new relationships every day. However, these trials also give him the opportunity to reflect on himself and find answers to some of his questions. A powerful film about grief, guilt, slowing down, nature, and self-discovery.
