Twister (1996)

Twister is a great, effects-orientated action-adventure film from the 90s. The film does not take itself too seriously, despite the drastic description of dangerous weather phenomena. The story begins in June 1969, when a family is caught up in a very strong tornado in which little JoAnne Thornton has to watch her father die.
