Twinni

In the summer of 1980, 14-year-old Jana moves in with her mum and sister after her parents' divorce. She slowly finds her feet in the rather bleak village life, makes new friends and turns the heads of a few boys her age. Above all, however, she has set herself a goal that causes a stir within the rigid community: she is determined to become an altar server ... Clothes, décor and music breathe the spirit of the 1980s, and TWINNI also turns out to be a charming, rediscoverable Austro variation on LA BOUM and co. (Florian Widegger)
