Twilight Zone – The Movie

To mark the 50th anniversary of the death of Rod Serling, the man who spent years creating and hosting eerie tales, we turn our attention to the only cinema outing of his great anthology series - perhaps the most influential collection of horror and sci-fi stories in recent history. Eight years after his death, four connoisseurs of genre film came together to bring Serling's legacy to the screen in several short stories: Joe Dante (‘Gremlins’), John Landis (‘An American Werewolf in London’), George Miller (‘Mad Max’) and giant Steven Spielberg (‘Jaws’, ‘Indiana Jones’).
Four disturbing episodes, including: A racist man becomes a target in a distorted nightmare (Vic Morrow), an aeroplane passenger (John Lithgow) thinks he spies a menacing creature outside his window, a child plays with reality as if it were a wind-up doll (Jeremy Licht).
