Harry Tasker (Arnold Schwarzenegger) has been leading a double life for 15 years: While his wife Helen (Jamie Lee Curtis) and daughter Dana (Eliza Dushku) assume he is a boring computer salesman, he operates worldwide as a secret agent for the ‘Omega Sector’ organisation against terrorism. Helen takes his constant absence from home - even on his own birthday - in her stride, but feels increasingly neglected by her husband. Harry's latest mission: Arab terrorists have gained possession of four Russian nuclear warheads and want to use them to force the release of imprisoned comrades. Together with his partner Albert ‘Gib ’ Gibson (Tom Arnold), he is tasked with putting a stop to the extremists. His only clue is the attractive art dealer Juno Skinner (Tia Carrere), who is in cahoots with the terrorists. Meanwhile, his wife Helen's thirst for adventure awakens: she meets a man called Simon (Bill Paxton), who is posing as a spy on a secret mission. Harry cannot believe that his wife is having an affair and mobilises all the means at his disposal to spy on her.
