The death of a musician haunts the Graz police. Especially now that Armin Trost (Michael Ostrowski) has once again been suspended for unusual methods. But the successful investigator doesn't let this sit on his head and investigates on his own, undercover, in the high ranks of Austrian folk music. When a second artist is mysteriously killed and carries a diabolical message, some people start to wonder whether evil forces are at work. Is the devil dancing in Graz? Of all people, the star of the Styrian folk music scene, Moritz Montblanc (Andreas Kiendl), is targeted by the investigators. And yet the biggest traditional festival in the whole country is just around the corner: the Aufsteirern.
