Traces of Responsibility

This interactive documentary delves into the concealed connections between Switzerland and the Rwandan genocide. As the film traces the path of a convicted war criminal with financial and historical ties to Switzerland, viewers step into an active role: through a live app, they guide the narrative’s course and choose the depth of their engagement with each layer of the story. Not only does this immersive experience foster reflection on collective responsibility but it also urges audiences to confront the enduring impact of history and our part in shaping its legacy.

Following the screening there will be a Q&A with directors Anja Reiß and Jan Andernegg, in cooperation with the Swiss Embassy.
