To Catch A Thief

Master thief John Robie has retired to the French Riviera and is enjoying his peace and quiet when a series of thefts occur following his method. To prove his innocence, Robie tries to unmask the culprit. In the process, he meets and falls in love with the American Frances Stevens, but their romance comes to an abrupt end when her mother's jewels are stolen. At a masked ball, Robie tries to catch the real thief and win Frances back.
