The Unfamiliar Familiar

The dictionary defines disorientation as “a usually transient state of confusion especially as to time, place, or identity often as a result of disease or drugs.” This sextet allows you to experience the intricacies of such a state without succumbing to illness or narcotics. Allow yourself to be transported into environments which have the lineaments of the world you know, but which quickly reveal themselves to be at least a little bit skewed from rational reality (and sometimes much more than a little bit.) Perspectives shift, rugs are pulled, the ground shifts beneath your feet! (ny)
