The Streets: The Darker The Shadow, The Brigher The Light

If an artist has not released an album for 12 years, but in all that time never really disappears from the scene - then that speaks quite clearly for this artist. Mike Skinner aka THE STREETS has announced the release of his new album The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light for October 20th - and his first feature film of the same name!

THE DARKER THE SHADOW, THE BRIGHTER THE LIGHT is a wacky noir crime thriller set in London's club world. Skinner wrote the script, directed, shot, edited, scored, financed and even created his own special effects for the film.

"I worked on this film and album for seven long years. I carried the desire around with me for a long time, and after trying my hand at a few short films and music videos, I felt I was now ready for it. Initially I went about it in a traditional way, but basically following my instincts and doing my own thing has always done the most for me." - Mike Skinner
