The Muppet Christmas Carol

The cold-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge is a very lonely man, has neither friends nor family and is feared and despised by his employees - after all, the old miser doesn't even want to allow them a piece of coal during the cold winter days. Even the upcoming Christmas holidays only elicit a contemptuous ‘Humbug’ from the old codger. Only a minority of the characters in THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL are played by actors and actresses, as most of the roles are taken on by the well-known puppets from the Muppet Show.
Loosely based on Charles Dickens' “A Christmas Carol”, the film tells the story of the heartless miser Ebenezer Scrooge (Michael Caine), who turns into a kind-hearted man at Christmas. With Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and all the others. Very nice! Very worth seeing!
