The Love Room

How do women live when their husbands are in prison? How are marital relationships maintained from behind bars? Susana Dinevski tells two intimate love stories, featuring two young women as the main protagonists, whose husbands serve their sentences in the most notorious prison in North Macedonia, Idrizovo. It's a social portrait of two families, illuminated through the prism of the intimate world of marital visits in prison. This film, inspired by love, depicts how far a woman and mother is willing to go to sustain this love.
