The Klezmer Project

A docu-fiction that follows the traces of klezmer music from Argentina to Eastern Europe. A journey into the remnants of Yiddish culture and its music.
A Jewish wedding cameraman, feeling rejected by his family's religion, falls in love with a klezmer clarinettist and invents a documentary about this music in order to spend time with her. This leads them on a journey through Eastern Europe in search of the lost klezmer melodies preserved by the Roma Sinti who lived with the Jews before the war.
