The Invisible Man
There is no other way out: Cecilia Kass (Elisabeth Moss) finally wants to draw a line under her violent relationship with her controlling boyfriend (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). One night she makes the decision to leave for good. She goes into hiding with her sister (Harriet Dyer), her childhood friend James (Aldis Hodge) and his daughter (Storm Reid), whereupon her now ex-boyfriend commits suicide. Whilst Cecilia inherits a considerable part of his fortune, the eerie occurrences in her life become more frequent and soon claim their first victim. The supposed widow is certain: her ex has only faked his death and is now invisibly hunting down everyone she holds dear - but who will believe her?
A modern adaptation of H. G. Wells' book of the same name, which was first made into a film by James Whale in 1933.
