The Innocents

The eager yet kind-hearted governess Miss Giddens is tasked with caring for siblings Miles and Flora in 19th-century England. They live on a sprawling country estate—where terrible things have occurred, and the ghosts of the past seem to be demanding their due from the living. Subtle, morbid, and filled with Freudian symbolism (flowers!), this is a (un)canny highlight of the horror genre! (Florian Widegger)
