The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

New Mexico, 1862: In the south-west of America, General Sibley is planning a military offensive against the troops of the northern states. While the Southern army advances, the bounty hunter Angel Eyes is tasked with tracking down the deserted soldier Jackson. However, when Angel Eyes learns that Jackson has gone into hiding with the regiment's coffers worth 200,000 dollars, he shoots his client and starts working on his own account.

But he is not the only one who has picked up the money trail: A nameless, taciturn gunslinger called the Blonde, as well as the bandit Tuco, who still has a score to settle with the Blonde, also know about the secret. However, the blond is the only one who knows the exact hiding place in a military cemetery in the middle of nowhere.

While the madness of war rages around them, each of the three tries everything to be the first to reach their destination and claim the treasure for themselves. In the cemetery, it finally comes to the all-important showdown: everyone against everyone else, the treasure is to belong to the sole survivor.
