The First Slam Dunk

Ryota Miyagi always plays with brains and is lightning fast, dribbling around his opponents while feigning composure. Born and raised in Okinawa, Ryota has a brother three years his senior. Ryota became hooked on basketball, following in the footsteps of his older brother who was a famous local player at a young age. In his second year of high school, Ryota plays with Sakuragi, Rukawa, Akagi and Mitsui on the Shohoku High School basketball team and participates in the national inter-school championship.
