THE FALL is a visually opulent film drama released in 2006 (and reworked in 2024) and a visually powerful homage to the power of storytelling, especially the magic of films.

Hollywood in the 1920s. Roy Walker is a film stuntman. He is badly injured on a dangerous job with a horse. He recovers from his fall in a remote hospital. Here he is told that he may never be able to move his legs again. Alexandria frees him from his impending depression. The girl has immigrated to the USA from Eastern Europe. She broke her arm while picking fruit.

Roy sees Alexandria as a way of escaping his misery. The stuntman offers the girl a deal: He tells her the most fantastic story imaginable. In return, she has to steal the morphine for him if he can no longer stand the whole hospital ordeal.

This is the prelude to an extraordinary story centred around five heroes from the remotest corners of the world. And the longer Roy continues with his story, the more inextricably fantasy and reality intertwine.

THE FALL was filmed at original locations in 23 countries. The cast list includes over a thousand names. The visual opulence is matched by the complexity and epic scale of the story.
