The Dead Don’t Die

In Centerville, ‘polar fracking’ leads to a zombie apocalypse: clocks stop, animals disappear, the dead rise from their graves. The local police join forces with the sword-wielding undertaker to fight the undead, who have fixed and rather banal obsessions. Iggy Pop, Sara Driver and other Jarmusch collaborators appear as zombies, Tom Waits as a hermit. The end of the world as an absurd, self-deprecating comedy.
