THE CROWD

Raman is leaving Tehran to study abroad. A group of friends around his partner Hamed spontaneously decide to organise a farewell party for him. As the party will violate several bans, they not only have to consider things like the location, guest list and music when organising it, but also ensure strict secrecy. Along this seemingly simple plot, director Sahand Kabiri portrays representatives of a young, encouraging generation who refuse to accept the unfree, strongly patriarchal social order in Iran.
