The City of Darkness

In the 1980s, the walled city of Kowloon, a dangerous Chinese enclave in colonial Hong Kong known as the ‘City of Darkness’, is a hotbed for numerous shady characters for whom there is no place elsewhere. Law and order no longer reign here, but rather the triads, the Chinese mafia. Young Chan Lok-kwun (Raymond Lam) also lives here now. While he tries to keep his head above water, he gets mixed up with other outsiders who play their own game in Kowloon among all the hostile gangs...
