The Bubble

Eytan Fox's queer interpretation of Romeo and Juliet follows the love story between Ashraf from the Westbank and Noam from Tel Aviv, who meet at a checkpoint. They meet again in Tel Aviv, a city known as "The Bubble" because of its detachment from the conflict. Yet the horrors of the Second Intifada soon reach the lovers.
