In a future world, an elderly woman is declared incompetent by the government and ordered to move to a remote senior citizens' colony. But she refuses and sets off on a journey through the Amazon region, driven by the desire to fulfill one last dream before her freedom is finally restricted.

77-year-old Tereza lives in a small industrial town in the Amazon region. One day, she receives a request from the government to move to a retirement colony in a remote area. Here, the elderly are supposed to “enjoy” their final years while the younger generation can focus entirely on productivity and economic growth. But Tereza resists. She embarks on a journey deep into the Amazon region, crossing rivers and jungles. She wants to fulfill one last wish before her freedom is taken away. A last wish that will change Tereza and steer her life in a new direction...
