In each of the four competitions, the jury decides on a main prize and—in all competitions except the Austrian Music Video Award—also on a second prize, the so-called Jury Prize recognizing special achievements. Depending on the length of the works, this program will feature a selection or all seven of The Award-Winning Films. Among these seven films are also those works that are automatically qualified for the Academy Awards, the European Film Award, the British Film Award BAFTA, or the Austrian Film Award with this recognition.
