THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT
Two drag queens (Anthony/Mitzi and Adam/Felicia) and trans woman Bernadette, already widely known for their show, get an offer to perform in a casino in Alice Springs, a remote place in the Australian desert. They embark on the adventure and travel across the Australian outback in Priscilla, their lavender-coloured school bus, which serves as their dressing room and home. The trip is full of strange encounters with peculiar characters, but the trio are not immune to homophobic attacks. It is the special mixture of comedy and depth that makes Priscilla, Queen of the Desert a road movie of a special kind.
