A simple man, a mundane everyday life – and violence that creeps up on him. Time and again, pizza delivery boy and petty crook Hossein comes into contact with the better-off members of society ‘due to his job’. Humiliation and silent resentment build up inside him. Panahi tells this story backwards: a calm yet relentless study of a tough struggle for survival.
