Suwariyên şengalê – Knights of Shengal
As in the story of Dewrêşê Evdî, we follow the journey of 12 Kurdish guerrillas who want to save Shengal.
The ISIS groups are approaching, and the official authorities decide to flee with his 12 knights, who are fleeing his beloved Edûlê because the Yazidis are not Muslims. A guerrilla group led by women, the new 12 knights, manages to liberate the city and bring the people to safe areas after fighting a historic battle against the Khalifa of ISIS.
Following the final screening of SERCAVAN – Kurdish Film Days, there will be a Q&A with the director.
