Susi & Strolch

The lovable cocker spaniel Susi (Lady in the original) feels neglected by her family, the human couple Darling. The couple have just had a baby and no longer manage to spend the usual amount of time with Susi. So when they go on holiday and leave Susi and the baby with the crotchety aunt, she is very sad. To make matters worse, the aunt's two Siamese cats trash the flat and arrange the whole thing so that the aunt thinks Susi is responsible for the mess. As a result, she has to wear a muzzle as punishment and decides to run away. During her escape, she meets the mongrel Stray (Tramp in the original), who helps her get rid of the muzzle. The two spend a few moments together, during which Susi falls in love with the charming drifter. But suddenly Susi is abducted by a dog catcher and Stray tries to free her ...
