Superboy (The Bionic Boy)

An attack wipes out Sonny's family – but thanks to experimental bionics, the seriously injured boy becomes a super kid: faster, stronger, unshakeable. This Filipino rip-off of THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN takes every idea to the point of absurdity: slow-motion fights, ridiculous dialogue, a vendetta full of cartoonish brutality. The German dubbing turns it into a trash fest that works precisely because of its quirks.
