Sugarland

Iga, who recently broke up with her boyfriend, is traveling by car. She drives from her home in Austria to Scotland, passing through monotonous highways and cheap hostels. Along the way, she picks up Ethan, an Englishman who is a little older and seems to lead a precarious, unstable life. After some initial hesitation on both sides, the traveling companions slowly grow closer—until the film takes a surprising turn shortly before reaching the English Channel.
