STRAWANZER

Like its two protagonists, whose story is revealed in layers, Patzak's STRAWANZER has no real beginning or end: white-haired Josef lives in the back room of a dilapidated theatre and collects street and prohibition signs, Wilhelm, a curly-haired man in his mid-forties, swallows alcohol and pills to dream ... What follows for both of them is a journey into their own past and an escape into ruin. (red)
