Strange Way of Life

Great director Pedro Almodóvar (Volver, All About My Mother) returns to the screen with a western short film in which two gay cowboys meet again for the first time 25 years after two passionate months together in Mexico:

Silva (Pedro Pascal) crosses the desert to visit Sheriff Jake (Ethan Hawke) in the town of Bitter Creek. A little more than two decades earlier, the two had worked together as contract killers. Silva's intention in visiting the city is to celebrate a reunion with his old friend. But Jake has a secret motive that has nothing to do with reliving memories of the time when they were colleagues...
