Before our eyes, the career of revue star Martha van Geldern (Ellen Richter) unfolds. Then a scream. Martha is found murdered in her villa. Everything points to her husband (Paul Richter) being the culprit, until ‘escape artist’ Willi Vogel (Fritz Kampers) comes to his aid. STRAF- SACHE VAN GELDERN is a crime thriller and courtroom drama, but above all an archive, as it includes scenes from Ellen Richter films that are now lost.
