"Stella. A Life." tells the story of 18-year-old Stella Goldschlag, who dreams of a career as a swing singer on Broadway and longs for happiness and recognition. But Stella is Jewish and lives in Nazi Berlin. Together with her parents, she narrowly escapes deportation, goes into hiding and gets to know Rolf, a daring passport forger. The two become an unscrupulous duo on the black market until they are caught by the Gestapo. To save herself and her parents, Stella starts working for the Gestapo. Her job is to track down and denounce Jewish citizens who have gone into hiding...
