Spermula
Aliens invade Earth — not as war machines, but disguised as irresistible, voluptuous women, “the most devastating weapon known to mankind.” Their mission: to destroy all the men in the world by, well, devouring them. After all, it is commonly believed that exaggerated masculinity lies at the root of most human failings.
Aliens or not, in Spermula the plot matters less than its dreamlike imagery, sensual atmosphere, and exuberant sexual fantasies. Director Charles Matton, himself an artist and sculptor, created with his second feature an opulent erotic film with a captivatingly flamboyant aesthetic. A film to feast your eyes on. Cherry on top: Udo Kier as the undercover Spermulite Werner — who is missing something crucial for his mission.
