Solo Sunny
The former labourer Ingrid, ‘Sunny’, has - so it seems - made it. As a pop singer, she tours the villages of the GDR with a band and other artists, performing in clubs and at parties. But that doesn't satisfy her, and things aren't going well in her private life either. Taxi driver Harry idolises her and would love to marry her. But his attitude of ‘making a quick buck’ doesn't suit her. She is having an affair with the philosopher Ralph, who is also having an affair with another woman in addition to Sunny. She has to defend herself against the stalking of her colleague Norbert. The only one who stands by her is her friend and former colleague Christine. When an argument with Norbert escalates and the stupid emcee and bandleader insults Sunny, Sunny is kicked out of the band.
