Sip si 32 doe (Beyond Hypothermia)

A taciturn hitwoman, who works with masterful precision, rewards herself with visits to a pasta stand after completing her tasks: the chef, an ex-gangster, entertains her with his stories. Soon something like love develops, but when one of their ruthlessly executed murders calls an equally deadly avenger onto the scene, the pair become embroiled in a dance of death. The first film from the legendary Milky Way production company (regular actor Lau Ching-wan plays the chef), which co-founder Johnnie To soon made famous internationally with action masterpieces such as Running Out of Time and The Mission. The production by John Woo's former assistant director Patrick Leung foreshadows their furiously stylised choreography, offering a hot and cold rollercoaster of emotions with its shifts from thriller to romance, leading to a heartbreakingly consistent finale.
