Sieger sein

Eleven-year-old Mona (Dileyla Agirman) has fled from Syria with her Kurdish family and starts attending a school in Berlin's Wedding district. Mona doesn't speak a word of German, but she knows how to play soccer. Her dedicated teacher, Mr. Chepovsky (Andreas Döhler), or Mr. Che for short, recognizes her exceptional talent and recruits her for the girls' team. Mona is a fighter, but she soon realizes that only by playing together with the other girls can they become winners.
