Sculptor Lizzie is preparing for the opening of a new exhibition. She has to balance her creative life with the chaos of everyday life and the dramas with her family and friends.

And then there's a pigeon that's been injured by Lizzie's cat and now someone has to look after it. Hong Chau (ASTEROID CITY, THE WHALE, THE MENU) shines as Lizzie's friend Jo. Jo is not only the bigger player in the art scene, but also her neighbor and landlady. The not always frictionless relationship between the two women provides the movie's funniest moments.
In their fourth collaboration, Kelly Reichardt and lead actress Michelle Williams create a fine portrait of an artist with enchanting ease.
