Between rugelach and bagels, this shiva/seven days of not always sad grief leads to many an unplanned encounter. Well-meaning advice on going to college, job placement attempts and tips on love life included, along with unsuspecting parents and slowly dawning insights into past and current love affairs. Instead of the deceased (who are we quickly mourning again?), fates, sugar daddies and (sugar) babies take centre stage - and when they don't, they loudly demand attention.
