Looking for a flat? There is a room available in Juliet, David and Alex's flat share, but be careful: the three have very specific ideas and put potential candidates through their paces. In the end, the older would-be novelist Hugo wins the bid. But the very next day they find him dead in his bed with a suitcase full of money underneath. In order to keep the money, they decide to make the body disappear. This sets a series of unforeseeable events in motion - and puts their friendship to the test ... The film is not only full of fresh ideas in terms of content, Danny Boyle (TRAINSPOTTING) also creates an aesthetic analogy to the Britpop wave of the time in his 1994 directorial debut with fast cuts and an unmistakable look.
