Who is murdering Mexico's sporting heroes? And why? Investigator Carlos Robles is faced with perhaps the biggest mystery of his career. When he is at a loss, he asks the luchador Guillermo Santana for help: he is to lure the unknown man in order to catch him in flagrante delicto. But things turn out terribly differently ... In the same year that Méndez wrote film history with EL VAMPIRO, this visionary mixture of mad-scientist horror and lucha libre film was made - the latter a genre that didn't really exist at the time. Guillermo Santana is played by Wolf Ruvinskis, a luchador actor who was born in Liepāja, emigrated to Argentina and finally arrived in Mexico - another example of Mexico's ever-surprising cosmopolitanism in those decades.
