Saint Jacques – Pilgern auf Französisch
Three siblings - a feisty teacher, an ambitious businessman and a perpetually inebriated scoundrel - reluctantly undertake a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela together because, according to their mother's will, this is the only way they can inherit her legacy.
Clara, Claude and Pierre are horrified: Their mother's inheritance will only be paid out if the three of them make a pilgrimage together. A catastrophe: firstly, they can't smell each other and secondly, hiking goes against the grain. But they could all do with the money and so they join an illustrious travel group, although they are by no means the only reluctant participants: the tour guide's relationship is on the verge of collapse, the young Arab Saïd is only there for love and his clueless cousin thinks he is on his way to Mecca - not a trace of group dynamics. Cold showers and blisters on their feet promote a sense of togetherness, but the road to Santiago de Compostela is a long one ...
